  • Pretty Freeloaders: Kana, Kuroha, and Kazumi all move into the observatory where Ryouta's Astronomy club meets in episode 4.
  • As of the second part of the story, Hatsuna transfers to Ryouta's class as well, while Kana transfers to Kitsuka's school. Coincidently, Kotori transfers to their school at the same time as Kazumi, but Kotori is a class below them.

She is later joined by Kazumi shortly afterwards.

  • New Transfer Student: Neko is the first who transfers to Ryouta's class.
  • And she shows up in the observatory where the other girls are hiding at in the end of the chapter/episode. All of the girls immediately have this look on their face, and explain to him that Valkyria is extremely dangerous, killing people like insects and being able to utilize eight forms of magic.
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": In chapter 59/episode 11, Ryouta mentions the name "Valkyria".
  • When she wakes up later they play it off as her passing out from too much sun. Both Kana and Kotori end up accidentally doing so, mainly to prevent another girl from drowning, and Kikka gets teleported into the water with Kotori. And in Kikka's case, he asks the girls while they're at the beach in chapter 56 not to let her see them using their powers. Though he tells his uncle about them, it's because he needs the latter's help in making the pills the girls need to stay alive.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Generally Ryouta and the Magic Users try to keep as many people from finding out about their predicament as possible.
  • Japanese School Club: They are the Astronomy Club and the girls live in an observatory.
  • I Owe You My Life: The escaped Magic Users in general towards Ryouta due to all of his help in trying to let them live a somewhat normal life and protecting them as much as he can.
  • Cool Shades: With the exception of Kana (and Hatsuna, who wasn't introduced at that time), the others wear sunglasses to protect themselves from Nanami's power.
  • During his first year, there was only him and an upperclassman.
  • Club Stub: Ryouta was the only member of the Astronomy Club, since the previous members all graduated.
  • Word of God is fuzzy, but one of the higher ups of Team Silent "remembers something about Cybil being dead".
  • Given the fact that Harry would have been a far more likely target and he never made any serious attempt to hide himself or his daughter, it would make no sense that Cybil would hide at all, much less disappear completely from the eyes of the known world. Wheeler from Homecoming stated that he worked with the Brahms PD at the time this happened, and that after she went to Silent Hill, nobody ever saw her again, and only the remains of her broken bike were any clue to her fate.

If Cybil went into hiding, she did it so fast that she never even bothered reporting back to her police headquarters, and so deep that no trace of her was ever found.

Harry does not take any security precautions of his own until five years later according to Douglas' notes in the third game, and only after being attacked by a cultist-and even then, all he did was move to a different town and had his daughter use a pseudonymous first name. It isn't that she's dead, he's trying to protect her. The reason we never hear about her afterward is because she and Harry parted ways to maintain a lower profile. Like Harry, she went into hiding after the events of Silent Hill 1.
